Moderation Notice: Hi there, do you know me?

Howdy folks! I have just been made a moderator of bookish! We all modded up in this joint now!

"And now it comes to it at last. You will give me the One Ring freely! In place of the Dark Lord, you will set up a Mod, and I shall not be dark, but beautiful and terrible as the Morning and the Night. Fair as the Sea and the Sun and the Snow upon the Mountain...all shall love me and despair!

Oh, wait... all I can do is approve posts stuck in the queue, change tags, and freeze threads. Well then.

Seriously, thank you to dragonsxist for appointing someone who can actively keep an eye on the comm. People are usually pretty well-behaved here so it doesn't really require much modding. However, as you all know, LJ tends to automatically spam-bin posts with external links and such, which has made it hard for anyone to post reviews that link anywhere else. So, I will endeavor to clear the queue out in a timely fashion from now on. I am usually around at least daily.

I am also considering reorganizing the available set of tags and adding new ones. Oh, look, I just created a new one!

So, I am soliciting feedback — what sort of tags would be useful/helpful? Do we still need a book series: twilight tag? Should I add some more genres? Does anybody ever actually search by tag? (I do, which is why I tend to obsess over organization. If I had the time, I would go back and retag every book review posted here, or create some kind of master review index, like I do for my personal reviews.)

Consider this also a general open thread to talk about community moderation. What else might be useful (that is within my power to do)?

ETA: Whoops. Looks like I can't create new tags, unless I can get dragonsxist to either make me a Maintainer or create a Custom Security Group for me.

ETA 2: dragonsxist has kindly promoted me to Maintainer. Cool beans - tags are back up for discussion.
