Books read in 2012

Little bit behind y'all both in posting and in number of books read, but such is life. I have very much enjoyed the lists posted so far!

My total was 41 for this past year (I was counting 42 but forgot there's one still unfinished), nine of which were re-reads, 2 were non-fiction, 15 were straight fiction, and 24 were science or speculative fiction (take your pick of labels, I'm labeling it according to me). None were audiobooks. Almost 50% of them passed the Bechdel test, according again to me (since people disagree about how to evaluate that).

I tend to rate stuff from 1 to 5 stars (1 being "Burn this book" and 5 being "Best Evah"), so in decreasing number of stars for the year, here's my list:
