recommendations for fantasy lovers

hey bookish!

I recently finished a decently fleshed-out recommendations list for fantasy lovers and thought I'd share it with you all. :) I want to stress that this isn't a fantasy books list, it's a list that I think people who like fantasy will like, including but not limited to "fantasy" books/series.

I was also hoping to flesh it out a bit more with my reasoning behind the specific choices, what i look for and why certain series aren't on there (harry potter, lotr, etc), slight personal biases, etc. I've been having a bit of trouble with this section because the books aren't strictly my favorites, I tried to throw in a mixed bag, and there's not quite one uniform theme for all of them.

most of all, I'm asking for a bit of feedback as to whether you, as readers, would be at all interested in this sort of information? and would you like it in the beginning (before the books) or at the end? and why? I'm also debating whether to do it in a Q&A style similar to an FAQ, or to just write straight paragraphs. any input at all would be greatly appreciated.

thanks and have a great day!

edit: if you have an extra moment or two, I've added a few extra user input polls and the like to gather some information on how to improve this list. please, if nothing, stop by and let me know whether you've read ASoIaF!
