Hi, everyone. I was wondering if anyone could recommend me a book where the main characters are partners along the lines of Holmes and Watson, Poirot and Hastings etc. (it doesn't have to be a crime story though) but where the dynamic is less of a cool guy and his ardent admirer and more equal. It would be even better if the "Watson" is actually more badass than "Holmes" (Like Win in the Harlan Coben books). Oh, and I'd prefer if both partners were male, but have nothing agains a male/female dynamic provided the female character is well written.

Thanks in advance. :)
