A bit of a struggle...

I picked up some random books on my last foray to the library. I started reading one of them called Bright of the Sky by Kay Kenyon.

I'm wondering if anyone else has read this and... is it worth reading further? I'm only about half way through and I want to read it but it's just not grabbing my attention like I thought it would. Does it get better? Does it get more involved?
