Chuck (the graphic novel)

So, I'm trying to do Christmas shopping, right, and my mom is a huge fan of Chuck on NBC.  I came across this graphic novel said to be based on the show, but I haven't heard anything about it.  Has anyone here read it?  What did you think?  I'd rather not buy a crappy book for someone I love.  :P
