Moon Called

Title: Blood Bound

Author: Patricia Briggs

Genre: Fantasy

Blurb on the Back: Mechanic Mercy Thompson has friends in low places-and in dark ones. And now she owes one of them a favor. Since she can shapeshift at will, she agrees to act as some extra muscle when her vampire friend Stefan goes to deliver a message to another of his kind. But this new vampire is hardly ordinary-and neither is the demon inside of him.

Rating: Just like the first book in the series Blood Bound is a book you'll want to Bring to Dinner. Once more Briggs delivers an engaging, fast paced, and mysterious plot. This has to be one of things I like most about Briggs, she gets to the point and introduces the plot right from the get go and contains it within the covers. She doesn't rely on loose ends to bring her readers back for the next book. Overall I would say that I enjoyed Blood Bound as much as Moon Called.
