Epic Animal Tales

I'm interested in finding more children's/young adult books that tell epic tales involving animals, often said to be following the same path as 'Watership Down'. I'm curious as to the variety of animals, more than anything. Here's the short list I've got so far:

- The Warriors series by Erin Hunter (Cats)
- The Seekers series by Erin Hunter (Bears)
- The Guardians of Ga'hoole series by Kathryn Lasky (Owls)
- The Silverwing series by Kenneth Oppel (Bats)
- Firebringer by David Clement-Davies (Deer)
- The Sight, and Fell by David Clement-Davies (Wolves)

Any more to add to the list?
