Candide by Voltaire
Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer
The Dispossessed by Ursula K LeGuin
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
The Passage by Justin Cronin
Krondor the Betrayal by Raymond E Feist
Order 66 by Karen Traviss
Bitten by Kelley Armstrong
The Gathering Storm by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson
My only problem is where to start. I only have until October 16th before they're due back at the library. Not really a problem as I can re-check them all out except for The Passage (can't renew new books). That one and The Gathering Storm I see being sort of a problem just because they're so big. The Gathering Storm more so because it's been years since I read the last one and I barely know what's going on anymore. >_<
I think I'll start with Candide since it's the smallest, then go from there. I had planned on reading The Passage first, but I just got done re-reading Stephenie Meyer (I now honestly don't see what the hype of that whole saga is; I only like the first book), and I don't want to read another vampire book so soon - regardless of how different they are.
My only question... for anyone that's read Artemis Fowl, did you like it?
