Paris

I've just found a lovely event, Paris in July, that I'd really like to participate in (albeit a week late :/) While I can think of countless films and musicians that are very French I'm drawing a blank on Parisian Books. My brain seems to stop at Victor Hugo and that is making me very sad. Alright, enough rambling. I'm looking for books written by French authors, or just books about or set in France, preferably Paris, in general. I know this is a pretty vague request but I'm really interested to see what everyone comes up with.

Thanks in Advance, and if you're interested I'm sure Tamara and Karen would be glad to have more participants!
