Do you count novel-length children's books?

Yep I have another question. Do you count novel-length children's books? I've read a couple of really good children's books this year i.e. 'Coraline' by Neil Gaiman and 'Bumface' as well as both books in the 'Boy and Girl series' by Morris Glietzman and so far I've counted each of them. I've also borrowed a few Roald Dahl books which I have yet to read and I wouldn't mind getting my hands on some of Paul Jennings books. Most of the books which I've counted are books which I've been meaning to read for years so it's not as if I'm just reading them cos they're quick reads. I think there's value in novels for all age groups. But at the same time I do feel a little bit guilty about adding them to my list even though I've read some really long books this year i.e. 'The Child Thief' by Brom and books 1 & 2 of the 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series. What do you think?
