Book Budget

I have two entwining questions:

Do you have a set book budget? Monthly? Weekly? Yearly?

Have you ever ruined a library book?

I dropped a book in the tub - because all bubble baths require a good book, just one I own from now on. And I had to pay for it obviously. Which ate up my entire book budget for the month.
