Please recommend me Authors like Scarlett Thomas.
I absolutely love The End of Mr. Y. (and re-read it a couple of times. Which rarely ever happens for me), I am halfway through PopCo and I picked up her new book Our Tragic Universe today.
I love how her books show normal people not getting along with their lives all that well and the way there is always something making ones mind spin - like the Troposphere or the Omega Point. (And it might help that her main characters got a university background, ended up with interesting jobs, but still don't know how to make ends meet. )
Does anyone here know a comparable author?
I would highly appreciate it, since her books kinda help to take my mind of the stress I am currently having.
