Recommendations?

After my last trip to the library I crossed off all but 1 on my Library/Bookstore list. Now i haven't read all of these books yet but I really want to beef up my list again. I've been pretty all over the place in my reading lately but I've been looking for underrated classics and novels with a fairytale aspect (like having a classic fairytale or fable ingrained in the plot or just a retelling of one). Really, I'm up for anything that isn't to Fantasy/Sci-Fi and figured the best way to get some good recommendations was to ask you good people over at bookish! So if anyone has any suggestions on anything I'd be glad to check them out!
