Change my life.

Hey guys! So I've been looking to expand my horizons lately, since I've had a set pattern for my entire year thus far while trying to read books for my 52 (one per week) goal. At first, I tried alternating classics with more modern selections, and then I added in some random books that caught my eye, and now I've thrown in a ton of recommendations. These are what I've enjoyed most, so I'd love some more!

This is your chance to tell me the book or books that have changed your life. Tell me what book took you to a completely different land, or changed your state of mind forever. Tell me the one that you have a compulsion to give to every family member and friend just so they can read it and have them love it too. I can't wait for these, because I'll be writing all of them down to go through!

If someone posts one you agree with, pretty please say so in the comments. I want to know that it effected you too!

My personal favorites this year have been Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere and American Gods, John Connolly's The Book of Lost Things, and Katherine Howe's The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane. This doesn't mean that I'm stuck with these genres - give me anything! Thank you in advance!
