Book Collections

We recently moved from an apartment to a house (finally!) and I now have a room with 3 whole book cases to hopefully contain my ever growing collection of books.
I was thinking that before I shelf every one of these books, I'd live to catalogue them all somehow. I know there is GoodReads LibraryThing and Shelfari and I have to admit that I prefer something that has a visual bookshelf sort of system, but before I start entering my hundred odd books into this, is there any pros or cons that people have to each one? Or one that I don't know about? I looked around for software to catelogue with but the one that I liked best is for Mac's and I unfortunatly still have a PC (as my partner is a programmer and works exclusively on PC and has TONS of software for them). So aside from my dream of a MacBook Pro to use Delicious Library, I'm looking for an alternative.

I'm sure this topic has been discussed but I looked back over the past few months and couldn't find anything.

Thanks SO much in advance!
