Review: Rage by Stephen King/Richard Bachman
So, if you remember, I made a thread about this book a couple of weeks ago. There was a LOT of response, and I decided to post my "review."
The plot is this: A high school student goes on a rampage and shoots two teachers dead, and then holds his classmates hostage. They all share stories and "bond." Yeah, wtf, right?
I didn't like this book. It was easy to read and addictive, but I hated it. The characters were INCREDIBLY stupid. They BEFRIENDED the killer and attacked the only sane person in the classroom!
Please respond to this and let me know if I'm the only one who thinks this, and if it's worth continuing with King's Bachman books?
I've only read one other King book, Carrie, but I'm moving on to 'Salem's Lot soon!
EDIT: So, I know what King was trying to do with this book, but I don't think he pulled it off well. Just saying.
