This may be far out there but here goes. My googling abilities are failing me here. I'm looking for the title of a book. I know it starts with an S ad it's the name of a town that is near an Indian Reservation. The main character is a teacher I believe and there's something about a shooting. I had to read this book in honors english in high school. It's set in a small town that the book is named after and I believe that it is in Minnesota. I could be fuzzy on a few of these tidbits.
Does anyone know why book I'm talking about? I believe the authors first name is John.
