"Haruki Murakami and the Music of Words"
Score : 1/5
Well, Im glad thats over. A slightly boring criticism/biography on one of my favourite authours. Only read if you're an ultra-fan. The book had its moments of illuminating Murikami's work which is by definition is difficult to get into, and certain things that only can be known by reading the original Japanese and being well versed in Japanese Literary traditions, but this wasnt really enough to stop it being dull. Presented as an biography with literature added ontop.
1/52 Books for the year.
