*Young adult or children's (but not *too* young) books only please.
I've recently read a few books set in Russia and one in Iceland and realised that I really have a fascination with a lot of Europe. I have a special fondness for YA books set during the first and second World Wars as well.
Basically, I'm just looking for YA books that are set in places I haven't read about yet: Finland, Sweden, Norway, pretty much all of eastern Europe; and books set in places I've only read a little about: Russia (esp. Siberia - I *loved* The Endless Steppe which I read a few weeks ago), Poland, The Netherlands, Denmark, Austria, Iceland, Hungary. Et cetera, et cetera. Everywhere, really! (I've read a lot of books set in Germany already but please don't hesitate if you have recommendations for there as well!)
That's pretty much it. Help me let my to-read list grow to insane proportions, please! :D
