Books read in August

Books read in August:

28. Percy Jackson & the Olmpians: The Titan's Curse by Rick Riordan, Photobucket
29. Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout, Photobucket
30. The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer & Annie Barrows, Photobucket
31&32. The Vampire Diaries: The Awakening & The Struggle by L.J. Smith, Photobucket
33. The Beach House by Jane Green, Photobucket

Most surprising read of the month: I was very pleasantly surprised by the first two books in The Vampire Diaries series. I cannot wait to watch the show in a couple of days! :)
Most disappointing read of the month: Olive Kitteridge was not what I thought it would be. It was about so many dysfunctional marriages and an old whiny windbag of a woman. Some of the stories were interesting, and that is the only reason I didn't give this book a lower star rating.
Current read: I am now reading The Vampire Diaries: The Fury & Dark Reunion. I hope to finish them, or at least be almost finished with them before the show starts! :)
