Horror/literary crossovers: tribute or desecration?

I just read that the publishers of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies are going to release Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters. What do you think of this trend? If you like it, what other works would you like to see monster-fied?

Also, since we always hear about how "the young people" read nothing but trash these days (a complaint I'm sure has been made for generations), do you think these might encourage people to seek out the originals and other classic works? Or is the appeal only in the monsters?

My opinion: I like these books, and would love to see what someone might do to Don Quixote. I don't really care if people read more "good books", because life's too short to worry too much about other people's taste in books.
