I'm new here

My boyfriend and I are "book readers" and spend any extra money and spare time in used book stores (mostly half-price). We very rarely ever leave empty handed, and when we do, we get pretty depressed about it.

I had a great little find at the bookstore a few days ago. A 1970 copyright edition of Alice in Wonderland. It's a little double-book of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. I've never actually read the book (or the sequel - didn't even know there was one), and with the newest Tim Burton movie coming out in March of next year, I feel like I should. I never did like the cartoon version of the movie Disney did - that damn cat gave me nightmares - but it's still a classic and one of those memories that really stands out in my childhood.
