Quick Question

Sorry If this isn't allowed but we're doing a reading project for school where we must pick a 'modern classic'.
My teacher has recommended to me 'The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox' by Maggie O'Farrell and I was wondering if anyone has read it and is it a good read?
