Quick Post
I just finished The Heart of Darkness today by Joseph Conrad for the second time.
The first time was in high school, and I absolutely hated it. I didn't understand why anyone would write a book about people tramping around in the jungle/caring about steamboats and ivory.
I have a greater appreciation for the mystery and psychological aspects of it now. And while it's not one of my favorites, I do like it.
What are your takes on it?
I find that I like his The Secret Sharer a little better.
