Heart- wrenching Happy ending ? love story....

I'm looking for a heart-wrenching (happy ending?) love story.
I'm not looking for the classics- I've already gotten a ton of recommendations for those and will be reading them.
I'm looking for more of a contemporary author.
I just finished reading Sundays at Tiffany's by James Patterson (yes I have read his 2 other "love" stories) and I feel the need to read another love story- I really would like it to have a somewhat happy ending if possible...
