i love that story! Faulkner's pretty much my favorite author, so I'm biased, but A Rose For Emily got me into his other stuff. My favorite part is when he weaves Colonel Sartoris into his story, i love Faulkner's recurring characters.

I just read it for an English assignment, and I really enjoyed it. It was a really interesting story, and not the kind of thing you read everyday. Sure, it was dark and the time flow confused some people in my class, but I really thought it was worth the read.

It's one of my favorite short stories. I think it's a great story with a lot of detail and depth. I read it for my Freshman english II.

It's sad and wonderful. Anyone who has ever lived in a small southern town can relate to the characters! Stylistically, it's somewhat different in it's POV and voice but it's definitely worth a read.

In general Faulkner's work is pretty good.
A Rose for Emily is a little morbid but if you have no problem with that then you'll enjoy it very much.
It's one of those stories that get better the more you read it.
I think it's a required High School reading now.

I hated it, personally. It was dull until it was creepy. I didn't get anything out of it.
