Recs

I'm nineteen years old and I'm in that place. Young adult is no longer an option for me, as I no longer find any of it good/interesting. I'm struggling to find my footing in the adult fiction world and so far it's been a rocky road.

So, I'm looking for some good rec's to help the transition. I'm not into the classics, but here are some of my favorite books:

A Thousand Splendid Suns
The Kite Runner
Memoirs of a Geisha
Candy (by Mian Mian)
God-Shaped Hole
The Lovely Bones

Based on that very... varying list.. can anybody recommend anything good to me? D;
