Book #59
Book Title: Watchmen
Author: Alan Moore
Category: Graphic Novel
# of pages: 410
My rating of the book, F- [worst] to A [best].: A+
Short description/summary of the book: (taken from bn.com):It all begins with the paranoid delusions of a half-insane hero called Rorschach. But is Rorschach really insane or has he in fact uncovered a plot to murder super-heroes and, even worse, millions of innocent civilians? On the run from the law, Rorschach reunites with his former teammates in a desperate attempt to save the world and their lives, but what they uncover will shock them to their very core and change the face of the planet! Following two generations of masked superheroes from the close of World War II to the icy shadow of the Cold War comes this groundbreaking comic story -- the story of The Watchmen.

My Thoughts: This is the first graphic novels that I have ever read and what a beginning! I loved it! The story is so original and all of the characters so complex. If you like murder, mystery, and great superheros, then this is the novel for you!
**On a side note, I'd love to read more graphic novels but I do not know where to begin. What other ones should I check out?

Books read this year: 59/50.

Next read(s): I am not sure yet. I would like to read another graphic novel but I am not sure which one(s) to check out.
