International Book Club Anyone?

I had this idea the other day for an international book club that involves a lot of elements of today's world. I'm just going to highlight some basic parts of the idea. If you have anything to add or are interested please comment below. If you'd like to contact me further there's a ton of contact info in my profile, my email and AIM are the most reliable.

Instead of each participant getting an individual copy of the book, there will be only a single copy. The single copy will be passed from reader to reader and autographed. Also, each reader will write a letter to future readers after finishing the book. Said letters will be mailed along with the book to each destination. This is partially because I think our generation does not appreciate mail for the splendidly wonderful thing it is.

When someone receives the book they will make either a video or a picture/text slideshow that con be uploaded to youtube. I plan on sort of making a community for the book club once it has a proper name. They will also do the same after reading and include a small non-spoiler review as well as to who where they are sending the book. i think this is just a fun way to incorporate You Tube because it has been known to create some good bonds between non-face-contact friends.

When each participant has read the book and the book is returned to the first reader along with everyone's letters the first reader will combine the letters into a scrapbook. There will be a contest of some sort where in the winner gets to keep the autographed book and scrapbook.

I am in need of thoughts, feedback and supporters.
