Free audio books on podcast

I started listening to the Kindle Chronicles every week, they produce an interesting podcast about kindles.

Then I thought, maybe there are books on podcast I can listen to when I just want to relax and be passive and there is nothing on TV, which is often the case.

I decided to look around the net for books on podcast, and found this cool place:

http://www.podiobooks.com/index.php

Authors allow their books to be heard here free. There’s limited choices: Only one book in Chick Lit, only one book in History. Lots of books in horror.

I clicked on Anne of Green Gables, it didn’t work. But all the others I clicked on did work. It took me a while to find one that clicked with me, Shadowmagic by John Lenahan.

It’s fun to listen to this while playing Chuzzle on my computer, and the chapters are not long.

They also have other mysterious ways audio books can be downloaded there.

I think there are some adult books there so you should be aware of this before sending children to the site, although I have not personally listened to these, cannot advise as to content.

Just wanted to let you guys know about kind of a fun site. Bet you all knew about it anyway, and I am as usual, the last to know. (:
