Book #37
Book Title: Winnie-the-Pooh
Author: A.A. Milne
Category: children's lit
# of pages: 161
My rating of the book, F- [worst] to A [best].: B
Short description/summary of the book: (taken from amazon.com):Happy 80th birthday, Pooh! The Bear of Very Little Brain and his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood have delighted generations of readers since Winnie-the-Pooh was first published in 1926. This deluxe anniversary edition of Winnie-the-Pooh is the perfect way to celebrate the enduring popularity of A. A. Milne’s classic work. The interior features the unabridged text and Ernest H. Shepard’s charming illustrations in full color on cream-colored stock. The specially designed jacket sports gold ink and a die-cut window that reveals the full-color art on the case cover. It is an impressive package for new fans and collectors both. Three cheers for Pooh!

My Thoughts: I didn't realize that this book consisted of short stories about Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends. This book is such a great children's book. I cannot wait to read his other books and pass them on to my children one day.

Books read this year: 37/50. I'm 74% done!!!

Next read(s): I just started reading Kiss the Girls and am still reading The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien.
