Judging a Book by its Cover

...We all know how the saying goes. And we also know that what it really means is that we shouldn't judge a person by their looks.

But let's take this saying literally. Do you really judge a book [that you might want to read] by its cover?

I'm gonna be honest and say yes. If the cover isn't really that interesting or pretty to look at, I put it down immediately (but I sometimes read the back part to see what's the book about and judge whether it might be interesting enough). When I pause in my reading, I usually just like to examine or stare at the cover, and it's not a nice thing to do when the cover or illustrations don't really look good.

Does anyone else judge a book by its cover? XD
