Recommendations.

I made a post a few months ago asking for some book recommendations based on some series I've enjoyed.. and I can't thank you all enough!

Someone recommended me the Mallory novels by Carol O'Connell.. and I think it may be my favorite series ever. I'm reading the last book I had left in the series, and I'm actually really depressed about it... I don't want it to be over..

So I ask of you, bookish... can you recommend me some more good detective/police/thriller/murder/mystery novel series? I really only enjoy reading books that are part of a series, I'm not sure why... I think I just get really attached to many of the characters I read about, and having like 8 books to look forward to with the same people really excites me.

Other series I enjoyed immensely include the Lucas Davenport series by John Sandford, the Lincoln Rhyme series by Jeffrey Deaver, and pretty much any series by James Patterson. I really love the whole police or detective theme, along with murder mysteries or crime thrillers, of course. (Other authors I really enjoy, but do not necessarily write many books in a series would be: Tami Hoag, Heather Graham, Stephen King and Dean Koontz)... so if you can't think of any series to recommend, feel free to recommend an author who still fits my 'criteria' ;)

Thanks in advance for any replies :) I'm sure I will enjoy anything you send my way, just like last time!
