Potentially off-topic but kind of fun...

I have a confession to make. It’s awkward and embarrassing and I hope you’ll understand. Yesterday, while thumbing through the playlists on my iPod, I came across one called “Twilight”. That’s right, in the midst of getting caught up in waiting for Breaking Dawn, I seem to have created a Twilight mix.

At first I was surprised but then I realized that it wasn’t so odd – after all, I have playlists for most of my own characters and I had started creating imaginary fanvids for books long before I realized there actually was such a thing.

Do you have a song(s) that you associate with a particular book? One you can’t help but imagine scenes to when you hear it?

Song: Hungry Eyes by Eric Carmen and Desert Rose by Sting
Book: The Mirror of her Dreams

Song:Paint if Black by the Rolling Stones</i>
Book(s): Strangers in Paradise (okay – technically a comic)

Song: Hero by the original Canadian bad-hair day (or, if you prefer) Chad Kroeger
Book(s): Anita Blake – Guilty Pleasures to The Killing Dance

Song: Bohemian Like You by The Dandy Warhols
Book: Twilight
