I apologize if this subject has been broached recently--there are so many wonderful discussions on bookish that I sometimes cannot keep up with it all!

What are people's opinions of banning books. Is it ever ok? If so, when? Who should be responsible for book banning?

By the same token, what are people's opinions of burning books? Is it ever ok?
