Melville

Hi guys.

So, I read ALOT. This semester I'm taking two classes on Herman Melville and I just cannot get into the reading. I find him absolutely brillant but long winded and segmented as well. Anyone have any suggestions? What do people like or dislike about him that might give me some insight.

Thanks!
