So I just bought a house. You know what really sucks about buying a house?
No, not the mortgage.
Moving.
Y'all can wax poetic about your paper books, but I have tons of paper books. Literally. I'm guessing I have about 70-80 boxes worth. And my back is feeling it.

See all those books? I have to move them.
Which is why this is a short SBD post, 'cause I need ibuprofin and sleep.
Are you a book packrat? Do you fill shelves and shelves full of books? Do they just accumulate around you? Or do you try to minimize your book footprint? Give away the books you're done reading?
I've been trying to get rid of books on PaperBackSwap, and I buy ebooks when I can and also make more use of the library, and yet I still find my physical book collection getting no smaller. I swear they breed in the dark. :/
Some books I keep for sentimental reasons, like the ones I can still remember reading when I was a teenager. Others are first edition hardbacks I can't bear to just toss to PaperBackSwap. There are lots of art books and reference books and coffee table books that look pretty on the shelves. And I can't break up my complete collection of Tony Hillerman!
Basically, I suck at downsizing my book collection.

Hopefully, this is the last time I'll be moving it for a long time!
